No joke, my vision, goal, obsession is to participate in the evolution of leadership and contribute to the world by helping others develop inspiring leadership skills.

MY Mission

I have an insatiable desire to participate in the evolution of leadership. We all know those inspiring leaders that we come into contact with throughout our lives. They motivate us to be better because an inspiring leader knows that it’s about people first. How do we make significant changes in anything? How do we move mountains? Build cities? Create a wave of change for the better? We do this by inspiring others to step into their most powerful, creative, and innovative place by uncovering and embracing their best selves. It’s not about gender, race, orientation, or any title or position. It’s about us as humans sharing this space for this infinitesimal amount of time and what we can accomplish together. We can accomplish great things together, but it starts with each one of us showing up in a way where the calm, productive, and even loving conversations can take place. Nothing is completely black or white. Most things are some infinite possibilities of grey. We cannot bucket any difficult conversation into a specific resolution. But we can create a resolution together that maybe none of us could see before if we allow ourselves the safe place to explore those infinite possibilities of grey. None of us are either all good or all bad. Nothing is all wrong or all right. When we are to internally close to an issue, we can only see limited possibilities, but if we can step back and see things with more objective eyes that are wide open and curious, we can see that there are many ways we can achieve our ultimate goals. First, we need to know what our ultimate goals are as a collective and get down to the core values that we must strive for in order to move ourselves as a collective to higher ground. We all have something, many things to offer on this path. We all have unique gifts and insights that can be shared. If we are able to muster the courage, we can step back into who we really are at the deepest level and with love share with the world those things that you can bring to the table. And the rest of us can learn to do the same as well as learn to release our judgment of what someone else can bring to the table and allow them to bring it knowing that none of us are perfect and life and creativity and innovation are sometimes or even most of the time very messy and that’s okay!

A lot of us though feel like we are not “leaders” so we defer to those in powerful positions to lead the way, but not all powerful people are the best most inspiring leaders. There are a lot of “leaders” that lead through force, control, coercion, aggression, antagonism, blame, frustration, etc. This approach is effective in the short-term but leaves people feeling burned out, fearful, dissatisfied, and unproductive.

The truth is we are all leaders in some capacity of our life whether at home, work, or with the self. Inspiring leadership starts with each one of us learning how to best lead ourselves toward bringing out the best version of our self and sharing it with those around us. Leading our own energy or attitude is a critical first step toward becoming the most inspiring leader you can be. An inspiring leader does not need to be famous or wealthy or anything in particular. But every inspiring leader will make significant changes for the better in all the communities in which they participate. And the ripple effect of their leadership will travel far beyond the initial person they directly interacted with in that moment. This is why I’m obsessed with coaching people on leadership skills. We can change the face of leadership one person at a time by starting with our own ability to lead our self and our life and then striving to show up as that powerful and inspiring leader to help others do the same.

Problems cannot be solved at the same level of awareness that created them.
