Becoming a leader is synonymous with becoming yourself. It is precisely that simple, and it is also that difficult.

About Me and My Mission

My mission is to contribute in the expansion of holistic leadership by partnering with others who desire to become more inspirational leaders for long-term sustainable success.

I have an insatiable desire to participate in the transformation of leadership. We all know examples of inspiring leaders. They motivate us to be better because an inspiring leader knows that it’s about people, first. Inspiring leaders encourage others to step into their most authentic and creative selves. It’s not about any label, title, or position. It’s about humans sharing this space for an infinitesimal amount of time and what we can accomplish together when we lift each other up. We can accomplish amazing things together, but it starts with each one of us showing up with the best of who we are and what we uniquely have to offer.

Sometimes, we don’t think of ourselves as “leaders” so we defer to those in powerful positions to lead the way, but not all powerful people are the most inspiring leaders. Some leaders lead through force, control, coercion, aggression, antagonism, blame, frustration, etc. This approach can be effective in the short term but leaves people feeling burned out, fearful, dissatisfied, and unproductive long-term.

The truth is we are all leaders in some capacity in our lives whether at home, at work, in communities, or in leading ourselves. Inspiring leadership starts with each one of us learning how to lead ourselves by uncovering the best version of who we are and sharing it with those around us. Leading our own energy (or attitude) is a critical first step toward becoming the most inspiring leader we can be. Inspiring leaders will make significant changes for the better in all the communities in which he or she participates, and the ripple effect will travel far beyond that leader.

This is why I’m passionate about leadership coaching. We can change the face of leadership one person at a time by starting with our own ability to lead our self, our life, and striving to show up as an inspiring leader to help others do the same.
