Books to Consider
I love books. What do I read? Fiction novels… usually not for me although sometimes. I mostly turn to non-fiction. I’ve been reading personal development books since I was a kid. My mom and I would contemplate and discuss all things about humanity, relationships, emotions, and possible reasons for behavior. I used to think “what is wrong with me that I like to read all of these self-help books”? Now I understand that it’s what I love and have always been passionate about. I’ve embraced my obsession with personal development books. All the reading I have done throughout the years has brought me clarity, learning, growth, and an understanding of myself at a deeper level. I know it can for you, too. I truly believe that something can be gleaned from anything we read even if we don’t end up agreeing with the overall story or message. At its worst, it will solidify what you don’t want or agree with. At its best, it will move and inspire you to see yourself in a completely new and enlightening way that helps you settle more fully into the best version of yourself. That’s my hope for you (and me) and why I wanted to share this list with you. I’ll continue to add more, but this list is a good place to start. Enjoy!
